Sleeping meditation is a form of meditation that involves using techniques to help relax the body and mind before drifting off to sleep. It can be done by anyone, regardless of their level of meditation experience, and is a helpful tool for those who have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep.

It is important to know that sleeping meditation can help reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and increase feelings of relaxation and calm. It can also be a helpful tool for managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Tip #1 - Why Do We Sleep?

The short answer is that we don't know the precise function Of sleep- It might be to allow the body and brain to perform Vital Maintenance And Repair,

flush out toxins That Have Accumulated, or make and consolidate memories.

Tip #2 - How Do We Fall Asleep?

If natural light fades, our brains begin to produce melatonin, which makes us feel sleepy. The longer we are awake, the more we feel sleep pressure, which is the biological urge to sleep, caused by various physical and hormonal factors.

Tip #3 - Why Do We Wake?

As it gets lighter, the body's production of melatonin tails off. Also, after a long sleep, sleep pressure is at its lowest, and with no biological urge to sleep, we awaken naturally, feeling rested.

Four Stages of Sleep

When we sleep, we pass repeatedly through different levels. During non-rapid eye movement (NREM) stages, we gradually sleep more deeply, but can still move our bodies around. In rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, our muscles are temporarily paralyzed

As we dream it takes around 90 minutes to complete a cycle of four stages. As the night goes on, the REM stage gets longer.
